The Eve Project is a Black-women-led organisation established in 2018 rooted in supporting the mental, emotional, and socio-economic wellbeing of Black African and Caribbean individuals across the UK. We were founded in response to a growing recognition of the systemic inequalities the Black women community face in areas such as health, employment, education, relationships, and public life.
Over the years, we have successfully delivered a range of community-based interventions, support programmes, and culturally competent workshops. Our approach is holistic, healing-centred, and rooted in empowerment, with all projects co-designed with and for Black women and their families.
ExpertiseOur team comprises qualified mental health professionals, certified life coaches, social workers, public health specialists, and community leaders who are all Black women with lived experience of the issues this project seeks to address. We are uniquely positioned to understand, connect with, and serve our target group. We have a proven track record of delivering culturally responsive services that have helped over 2000 women overcome barriers to wellbeing and economic stability. Governance The Eve Project operates under a robust governance structure. We are a registered Not-For Profit organisation with a black-female led board of directors, sound financial oversight, and comprehensive policies covering safeguarding, equality and diversity, health and safety, and GDPR compliance.
