Delia Edwards-Julien - Founding Director

Delia Edwards-Julien, DipHE Clinical Supervision, DipHE Education, DipHE Counselling, Cert PGCert, BA (Hons).

Delia Edwards-Julien, is the visionary behind The Eve Project and was the Founder and Director of Eve Therapy Training and Counselling Services Ltd. The Eve Project was created to tackle the mental health, social and economic inequalities that impact Black women and their families. Her Christian faith is what has led her to support women struggling with their mental health and wellbeing.

Positioned at the heart of Lewisham, Lambeth, and Southwark, The Eve Project is dedicated to offering outstanding training, support, coaching and mental health support services to those residing, working, studying, or engaging in community life within these boroughs. With a commendable track record spanning over three decades, Delia has been at the forefront of raising competency in areas of diversity and difference within inequality, mental health services, counselling training and the therapeutic setting. 

Delia is a qualified Therapist, Supervisor, Coach and Teacher. Her unwavering commitment lies in fostering the participation of individuals from diverse backgrounds to engage in activities that will improve their mental health and wellbeing. 

Delia is also the author of Healing Eve: An Inner Healing Programme for Daughters in Christ.


​Jacqueline Reid - Director

A Woman of Excellence: Jacqueline
Jacqueline is a woman of excellence whose career has been deeply rooted in service to the community. Her early professional years were spent working within local authorities and the charity sector, where she consistently focused on delivering impactful support and services. Her work spanned a wide range of areas including the development and delivery of training projects, advancing women's equality, education initiatives, and policy development.

Later, Jacqueline transitioned into the counselling profession, bringing her compassion and insight to roles as a therapeutic counsellor, teacher, supervisor and agency manager across several organisations. Her experience has given her a deep understanding of the operational systems and structures within various types of organisations, and she knows what it takes for projects to successfully meet their objectives and targets.

Jacqueline's motivation is beautifully captured in her own words:
“My motivation is to see people heal, grow, and be empowered to live enriched and fulfilling lives they have dreamed of—and sometimes discovered through the work done with them, they aspire to.”

Her dedication to personal and community transformation continues to inspire those around her.


Naomi Sinani - Director

Naomi is a Christian with a heart for serving and supporting people in the community. Over the years, this has taken her career to various paths including completing a degree in Childcare and Education, and working with children with special needs and in nurseries.

Naomi also has extensive experience in running community projects such as setting up and managing a Coffee House, running youth training programmes and activities, hosting events and facilitating a Winter Night Shelter. More recently, Naomi has completed her Level 3 Counselling skills, whilst working for EVE Therapy Training & Counselling Services as Operations Manager. 


​​Being a Trustee for The EVE Project is Naomi’s way of using some of her skills and experience to support an amazing charity, while being a full-time Mother to two young children. 

Naomi is delighted and honoured to be part of The EVE Project which empowers, equips and celebrates women in the local Community.
